Travel Cost-Savings Initiative

Throughout ADC's fiscal year in 2009, cost-savings initiatives have been a major focus of our corporate communications. One initiative seeks to reduce expenses related to travel by U.S. employees.

Prior to the launch of a targeted communications plan, only 25% of U.S. business travel was booked online. The initiative introduced ADC to a new online booking tool. Through change management philosophies, we produced various e-mails to encourage employees to alter how they arrange business travel.

Because of the communications produced, ADC has increased the percentage of business travel booked online to 80%, saving our company approximately $123,000 a year. Reminder communications are still being produced as requested.
